Volvo to Transform the Online Shopping Experience You Remember

Volvo Car Group is expanding its service offerings to change the online shopping experience. In recent news, the Swedish automaker introduced a new service with Urb-it that delivers packages to a Volvo owner's trunk in two-hours or less.

"We understand the value of the in-car delivery service we have developed. We’ve all had phone calls at work from delivery people trying to deliver packages to our homes that need to be signed for when there is no one home. With our In-car Delivery service we effectively turn your car into a delivery location and assign a one-time digital key to the delivery person, effectively eliminating delivery failure," said Bjorn Annwall, Volvo's senior VP of marketing and sales in a report.

Urb-it and Volvo will first limit the service to Stockholm customers with the goal of expanding it to several European cities later this year. It will appear globally by 2025.
