Sure, there are plenty of new Volvo vehicles at Volvo Marin, but wouldn't a supermini be a blast to drive. What's that you say? We know it as a subcompact here in the US, but that's what they're known as in Europe. Anyway, Volvo is considering adding a supermini to their lineup for the US market.
According to Lex Kerssemakers, Volvo's product planning chief, the automaker will create a small, eco-friendly car if they can find a partner willing to share the platform. There haven't been any developments on this so far, but it's on the discussion table, so maybe we'll hear more about it soon.
Among other Volvo news, the V60 will be in our dealership soon. It has a plug-in hybrid that has made waves in Europe, too. Maybe it comes to Corte Madera, CA as well?
There's also the big reforms set to take place using Scalable Architecture to advance the S60 and XC90 for the future.
The best part is you can read about all these updates right here on the Volvo Marin blog, as we strive to keep you informed. We also invite you to stop in to our showroom at 201 Casa Buena Drive where we'd be happy to go in to greater detail on new Volvo models that interest you, answer any questions you might have, and set up a test drive in one that sticks out and catches your eye.
