What Should You Expect From Your Volvo EX60 Pre-Order?

Volvo EX60 Specs

While there are many aspects of this EV to adore, the Volvo EX60 range is among the most memorable. If you equip your Volvo EX60 with the P12 engine, you get the maximum range of 400 miles.1 This is the most of any Volvo EV, expanding past what's possible with the Volvo EX30, Volvo EX40, and Volvo EX90 – though the innovations of the Volvo EX60 promise to improve the entire lineup over time. The two other powertrains, the P6 and P10, can reach 310 and 320 miles, respectively1 – still quite respectable for an all-electric powertrain. No matter your choice in engine, you can charge from 10% to 80% at a DC Fast Charging Station in under 20 minutes, with the P6 and P10 powertrains making the climb in 18 minutes and the P12 in 19.2 Dedicated AI technology ensures your charging speed is perfected based on temperature, the condition of your battery, and maintenance pattern.

That's not the only impressive aspect of the Volvo EX60, though. The P12 powertrain also produces 670 horsepower, enabling a 0-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds. Even the standard P6 engine makes 369 horsepower, a snappy and responsive amount that sits above many of the gas offerings in our showroom.

Volvo EX60 Dimensions

Additionally, the Volvo EX60 brings a comfortable amount of space, making it a premium family vehicle. At a length of 189.1 inches, it's most easily comparable to the Volvo XC60 – a favorable comparison to an all-electric model. It offers 41 inches of front and 40.6 inches of rear headroom, alongside 41.7 inches of front and 37.4 inches of rear legroom. Whether you're in the front or back, the Volvo EX60 promises a comfortable and enjoyable day on the road.

Then, you get to the trunk. EVs are rarely known for expansive cargo space, but the Volvo EX60 again impresses: 58.2 cubic feet of cargo space when you fold the rear seats, plus a frunk for your charging cable and equipment.

Your seats are either premium Nordico upholstery or ventilated Nappa leather: all of them homey and comfortable, built in four unique colors. Now, look up to the dashboard. You're greeted by a landscape-center display and an intuitive touchscreen with an AI assistant to guide you through your Volvo EX60. Of our new Volvo vehicles, none have quite the same inspiration as the Volvo EX60, with a modern steering wheel design and a flat instrument display panel that matches the themes of the Volvo EX60.

You'll be welcomed to the cabin through an advanced LED ambient lighting system, with a quiet yet soothing startup show. An electrochromic roof provides gorgeous, all-natural light to flow into your cabin while blocking up to 99.9% of UV rays. A three-zone climate control system enhances your comfort with an efficient heat pump that recovers heat from your battery-and-motor setup.

I strongly recommend Volvo Cars Marin. After visiting 4 local Volvo dealerships, my wife and I drove 50 miles in the rain to Volvo Cars Marin to get our new Volvo. They had a selection of cars that pleased my wife; the terms discussed on the phone were very competitive; and, the Sales Manager, Elyes Chebbi, was familiar to us, as he had been the Sales Manager at the local Volvo dealership when we purchased our prior Volvo. When we arrived at Volvo Cars Marin the sales staff was very patient and helpful, especially Mauricio Aviles, as my wife wanted to see a few different models. The final paperwork turned out to cost less than Elyes had initially described, and Mauricio was extremely patient and generous with his time helping us to program the Volvo software to connect our cellphones and to program all of our driving preferences. We intend to revisit Volvo Cars Marin when it's time for our next Volvo.
