Recently, we've witnessed a fusion of the independent soul. This need to break away from convention and define yourself and your path is eloquently manifested in a Volvo and musical collaboration with the worldwide-known DJ trio Swedish House Mafia. Together, they partnered to create a music video showcasing musical talent as well as the new Volvo XC60.

All Volvo's XC cars are designed around people's wish to get out and to leave you everyday life behind for awhile,"says Per Carleö, Marketing Manager at Volvo Cars. "So we were thinking of people who really want to leave the world behind for a while and came to think of the members of Swedish House Mafia."1

The global sensation's first world hit together was "Leave the World Behind"...Volvo and the trio were meant to find each other and work together before the band members go their separate ways.

That's right. The three members--Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, and Axwell--are parting their separate ways, closing this chapter in their lives and starting anew. But before they venture on their own, they crafted a creative music video featuring another Swedish singer (Lune), and, of course, the new Volvo XC60. The setting for the video brought both the automaker and the trio back to their roots: Scandinavia.

"I think the biggest joy in this project has been people's wholehearted enthusiasm, all the way from the members of Swedish House Mafia and their team, to the top management of Volvo cars," Carleö adds.2
