Many Corte Madera drivers rely more on their ability to fix vehicles independently rather than spending money at the shop. One of the simplest tasks you can learn is to charge a car battery. Charging a car battery is simple enough, but if you don't know how to perform the job safely, you could cause more harm than good.
You should first make sure that the battery charger is switched off before connecting any of the cables. Connect the positive cord to the larger of the two rods on the car's battery; this is your positive connection. Next, place the remaining charging connection to the negative terminal on the battery.
Once everything is connected correctly, turn on the battery charger and set an appropriate timer after checking your battery charger's instructions. Batteries with lower open-circuit voltage will take longer to charge and can take anywhere from six to 12-hours to charge completely.
